The garage sale was a huge success
A gigantic thank you
goes out to everyone who donated, baked, sorted, priced,
bargained, provided, advertised, showed, shopped, cashiered,
set up, cleaned up, visited, prayed and loved. We were able to
provide ministry to many people, as well as raise $2,060.32!
I am already looking forward to next year's garage sale, God
willing. – Adelle

Orthodox Youth Camp
, August 9th to 13th, at Elbow Bible Camp, ages 8 to 15 or 16: Campers and helpers are needed! See the poster on the Bulletin Board. Call right away: Sandy, 463-3331, or Chrystal, 935-4509.
New baby
Terry and Sarah Machnee will be having their baby very soon! We invite you to once again make meals for the new parents. You can either make one ahead of time, using the disposable foil containers in the church kitchen or freeze it, or you may deliver a meal to them, if you like. After the church garage sale there will be room in the freezer. Please let Lois know what you plan to do.
St. Innocent Orphanage
Five ways you can be helping Project Mexico:
Sign onto the “20 for 24” Plan, $20/month for 24 months.
Sponsor a boy for one school year, $100/month ($1200 total). Parish Council is already going to sponsor one boy this way.
Be one of Saint Nicholas’ helpers: gather gifts and clothes for one boy for Christmas.
Make a monetary donation to their Food Pantry. (Their monthly grocery bill is $2500!)
Make a one-time donation—any time, any amount.
Feel free to contact Lois or Father Bernard about this urgent, ongoing need. Also, be sure to include Geoff and Deanna in your daily prayers!

Seating improvements in the Nave –
Parish Council has decided to try two different seating arrangements, to open up more room down the centre, with some combination of pews and chairs. Your comments as to which layout you prefer will be appreciated. Wait for an announcement for when this will begin.
